How does Technology enhance the quality of our lives?

When people talk about technology and specifically Computer and Internet, there is a dark side and doubt bias. They are talking about amount of time people spend on the internet and wasting of their time. The problem is they are not mentioning the other side. In compare with which life style these stuff are wasting human kind time?
Go back 40 years ago and you recognize the amount of time people wast on TV; It's flag ship of Internet you are right. Go 100 years back and look at that lonely man that spend his nights in the bars and no body talk to him.

Today I saw an old woman in Starbucks; First I didn't understand why she is waving her hand and staring to her screen. Finally I realized that she is deaf mute and using sign language for talking to her other deaf mute friend on an online video chat platform.

I really enjoy by understanding in what extend this technology change the world. Maybe 200 years ago an old deaf woman, should hide herself in her home and couldn't show up in public till her death.
I am a pro Computer and I believe this trend gradually will improve the quality of human life.

امروز یک خانم حدودا 65 ساله رو دیدم که همراه همسرش نشسته بود در کافی شاپ پیتز و داشت با جدیت مطالعه می کرد. متوجه شدم که دارد برای امتحان مربوط به متخصصین ملک آماده می شه. واقعا حس خوبی بهم می ده. وقتی چرخ اقتصاد یه جامعه می چرخه، اگه تو مشکل مالی داری و می خوای درآمد بیشتری داشته باشی، براش راه وجود داره. راهش به هیچ عنوان ساده نیست و میان بر نداره ولی راه داره. آدم های در سن های مختلف رو می بینم که مثل دانش آموزای کنکوری درس می خونن و یه امیدی دارن. حس خوبیه!

The Girl will never see her dad again, The Boy will never walk again, The old and frail woman will stare at the door, for the rest of her life, Dreams vanished, Hopes disappeared! However, The Guy bought a huge mansion last night because of the surge in oil price, and the Other Guy will add thousands of  miles to his imaginary empire, in a few days, and the World still cannot handle these two Guys to keep The Girl, The Boy and The Old woman safe!
