The Power of Visualization

Consider the world map – an image we often take for granted as a fixed reality. But what if we were to shift our perspective? Imagine slicing the globe not near Alaska, but closer to Greenland. In this new map, everything changes. The USA suddenly neighbors Russia closely, and Japan finds itself much closer to the Western world. Such a shift alters our perception of East and West entirely.

Could it be that some of the historical hostilities between Eastern and Western nations are tied to the vast geographical distances that separate them? Perhaps, by recognizing that they're not as distant as they once seemed, they can acknowledge their shared humanity.
